Job Title : DBA/RDBMS Expert Location : Redmond, WA Duration: 6 months Rate Range : $44-48/hr Description: The database administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity and security of a database. Additional role requirements include planning, development and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge in managing data schemas and in manging users rights. Must have knowledge of integration of applications in the telecommunication core network in addition to practical experience of UNIX platforms and IP network services. Requirements: - Expert SQL in a Postgres environment - Strong in complex queries, data schema and user rights - Knowledge of LDAP protocol and X.500 Data Directory is a plus - Knowledge of Greenplum database is a plus - Unix systems/scripting - Network protocols (TCP/IP, Diameter, SIP, SS7, Radius, TCP/IP, SOAP, XML, http) - Software Development experience in a telecommunications environment. - Strong Customization and software Integration skills in the mobile domain. - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications field - Good written and oral communication in English. - Prepared to travel to customer locations and work away from home.
