can assist in in the architecture and implementation of long haul and metro RF
links.

in many facets of RF transmission -- from inception to design to feasibility to
deployment. He/she will also be a

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- The primary function of the RF Engineer is to provide guidance
to Site Acquisition and Construction to ensure the proper placement and
design of new RF Millimeter sites.
- Candidate
will be able to utilize propagation modeling techniques to complete RF
designs of large-scale, complex markets. Ability to perform all stages of
RF design, including: spectrum registration, search ring process, optimal
site selection, link budget analysis, and RF sweep evaluation.
- Working
knowledge of RF planning process and use of propagation tools. Excellent communications, interpersonal,
and presentation skills.
- Develops,
plans, coordinates and directs the engineering work for a major project,
or several smaller, but complex projects, or for the design within a
specific discipline. This includes work assignments, tower climbs, antenna
mounting, LOS, structural and engineering drawings staffing, scheduling
and review
- Develops
or evaluates plans/criteria or special analyses required in support of the
engineering effort.
- Develops
new or improved techniques or procedures for application in unique
engineering
Coordinates the design of assigned systems or projects
with involved B&V personnel and client management. - Maintains
engineering records, lists and reports as required to ensure compliance
with the client's schedule, adherence to the budget, adherence to
procurement specification, or to ensure engineering problems are monitored
and resolved.
- Supports
continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects
associated with the implementation of improvements.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of
experience performing engineering related duties.
