Successful candidates will have 7-10 years
experience in designing and managing the design of circuit boards with
analog, digital, and
RF (WiFi, WWAN,
etc.) and Experience in working with wireless communication technologies
(CDMA, GPRS, 820.11) and mobile hardware (ruggedized handhelds, smart
phones, and tablet PCs).
Duties & Responsibilities:•
Manage all aspects of complex hardware/software device development
projects involving existing client systems and new technology
implementations
• Design of embedded analog/digital/
RF PCB’s modules, sub-systems, and systems using sate of the art RTOS microprocessors
• Coordinate design with mechanical, CAD, FW and SW teams to reach and interface and packaging objectives
• General ability to provide technical support and advice for all phases of electrical engineering
• Design customer electronic circuitry for telecom/wireless support hardware
o Create wiring diagrams for industrial equipment and control panels
o Evaluate and interface with a variety of sensors
• Incorporate appropriate risk mitigation plans for every project
• Oversight of the development of detailed project plans
• Track budget and resource utilization
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement
• Clearly and concisely communicate to clients, team members, management, and other stakeholders
Skills & Qualifications:
• 7-10 years experience in designing and managing the design of circuit boards with analog, digital, and RF (WiFi, WWAN, etc.)
•
Experience in working with wireless communication technologies (CDMA,
GPRS, 820.11) and mobile hardware (ruggedized handhelds, smart phones,
and tablet PCs)
• Knowledge of Rabbit Systems preferred
• Knowledge of high speed PCB design and layout rules/guidelines
•
Ability to understand customer business processes and translate them
into functional requirement that result in satisfying technical
solutions
• Able to adjust to change both rapidly and effectively
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while effectively focusing on priority issues
• Ability to create, document, and follow processes and procedures
